Questions not asked

What she’s living is a lie.
She thinks she’s perfect, but when alone,
All she wants to do is cry.
She’s got all she wants, but then,
Why do tears come at night?
Her perfect parents, perfect friends,
Perfect lifestyle- a great sight!
She longs and yearns for something,
But doesn’t know what it is.
She reaches out for it,
Knowing she would never find bliss.
Everyone searches, searches to find,
Answers to questions not asked.
And when those answers we find,
Those questions we hope were left not asked.

Imperfections

comments
You have everything- but something’s still lacking,
Your life is filled with spirit, joy, fun and laughing.
Suddenly you realize it’s not what life’s about,
A perfect lifestyle makes you want to shout!
You long for that something that’s nonexistent.
That something is Imperfections.. And I meant-
When somethings not right you can always fix it,
And the joy of seeing it fixed iand fit,
Is beyond compare to anything known,
But when all’s perfect, this joy is thrown.
So let me have my imperfections and,
Let me work on them myself- with my heart and hand..

Behind the mask

A fully bloomed rose outside,
A withering lily inside,
A smile on her lip, a sparkle in her eye,
A cry in her mind, a tear in her heart.

Everyone likes her for who she is,
Joyful company and fun she is.
But no one understands her real core,
Her life’s not gold, but it is an ore.

A free bird ready to fly,
If she was so, she’d now be in the sky,
A caged heart, and anguished mind,
Fed up of pleasing and being kind.

Her life is envied by one and all,
Jealousy, Expectations, Pride and Falls-
These fill up her life and make it dark.
Her life’s not the moon, but d black velvet around.

Wallowing in self pity when she’s alone,
Partying and laughing with both friends and foes,
Here is an example whose life’s a mist,
She is on her quest to find hope, joy and bliss..
